Dr. Gierlotka received his Ph.D. at AGH University of Science and Technology in Poland where he hold assistant professor position in 2005-2006 and 2009. He was working as visiting researcher in Czech Republic and Finland under COST European action as well as a post-doc researcher at National Tsing Hua University in Prof. Sinn-Wen Chen’s laboratory (2006-2008). From 2009 until 2013 he was working as visiting assistant professor in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science Department at Yuan-Ze University. From August 2013 he works at Materials Science and Engineering Department at National Dong Hwa University as assistant professor.

主要研究領域與專長 :

His scientific work focuses on thermodynamics of condensed phases with special interest in CALPHAD (CALculation of PHAse Diagrams) approach. Dr. Gierlotka serves as Journal of Phase Equilibria and Diffusion editorial board member, ASM Alloy Phase Diagram Committee member and TMS Alloy Phase Committee member. He published more than 40 SCI papers about phase diagrams calculations. |
